About the Course

This practicum is designed to complement a full BCIA didactic course by supporting the practical application of the EEGer Software within clinical work. Participants will develop competence in session setup, protocol selection, threshold adjustments, troubleshooting, and progress monitoring. The training emphasizes effective interaction with clients during neurofeedback sessions, including explaining procedures, responding to clinical presentation, and making informed in-session decisions. Attention is given to both the technical operation of the software and the clinical considerations that guide its use, helping practitioners integrate EEGer confidently and thoughtfully into client care.

Meet Your Mentors

The practicum is led by Leanne Hershkowitz, LPC, BCN QEEG-DL and Anna Morrell, LCSW, BCN, experienced practitioners with extensive backgrounds in EEGer and clinical neurofeedback. They provide structured guidance, clinical examples, and step-by-step demonstrations throughout the training process, helping participants develop technical proficiency and clinical confidence. Their mentorship emphasizes thoughtful application of the Attuned Model, practical skill development, and responsible integration of EEGer into client work.
