About the Course
Gunkelman Grand Rounds is an advanced, case-based learning experience designed for QEEG professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of raw EEG interpretation, applied neuroscience, and the practical integration of these insights to support meaningful client outcomes. Each session centers on clinically relevant and often complex EEG cases. Jay Gunkelman reviews selected submissions live, offering expert analysis and highlighting key patterns, anomalies, and interpretive considerations. Through this process, participants gain exposure to how experienced EEG analysts approach data—moving beyond surface-level readings into more nuanced, pattern-based understanding. A distinguishing feature of Grand Rounds is Jay’s ability to translate complex and abstract neurophysiological concepts into accessible, practical insights. Participants observe how foundational neuroscience, QEEG findings, and real-world considerations come together, supporting more informed, effective client work. This is not a didactic course, but an interactive learning environment grounded in real cases and shared inquiry. Participants are invited to submit cases for potential review, contributing to a collaborative atmosphere that reflects the diversity and complexity of real-world practice. Through repeated exposure to varied presentations and expert interpretation, participants build greater confidence, clarity, and depth in their own EEG analysis and application.
